[It's a hastily written note, but still neat]

Dear Arthur Kirkland,
Hallo there, this is a letter from the nation of Austria, or Roderich Edelstein. It is not meant to be formal, I just have not seen you
before or around the Ryokan...So I wrote this as means to talk with you. Your name is upon the lips of many at the Ryokan and I am
a little surprised that I haven't met you before. Surely as the nation of England you would attend world meetings? But, anyway. I hope to
meet you one day. Apart from the cursing, which I find a little harsh to install on Eddy, you seem quite interesting. Maybe one day you would
care to meet for tea or a drink? It is up to you. But the main thing is...I have questions to be answered. There is only two of them, but please do
answer back. Number one: Why did you curse Eddy with such horrible things? And number two: One day, I asked Eddy who you were...And he told
me you were my husband. Is this a side affect from the curse, to imagine things? Because I have no idea where he got this from.
[The next line has been scribbled out completely and nothing can be read from under it]

I did something different today.
Personally, I thought I had lost these journals when I moved.
Apparently not. A lot of things from my past have been cropping up, whether it be people or objects.
I attended Church for the first time for many long years, probably around the ten years mark, but the Vicar still knew me. He told me I hadn't seem to age a bit. If only he knew. I just nodded and found myself sat next to a rather nice aging couple who said that I reminded them of a young man they had seen back in WW2.
